Mikrotik CHR on ESXi. Change a port group on a powered-on Mikrotik CHR

Hi,

Not able to change the port group of a powered-on Mikrotik CHR VM running on ESXi.

When I try, I got a message telling me to shut it down.

On other powered on VM´s, it´s ok.

I don’t know that the CHR runs a version of vmtools that supports that kind of a change. That, or there’s something else about your VM config that isn’t allowing the hot swap.

Not supported on ESX

It is supported on ESX. Possible on other VM´s. The CHR is imported with default setting. Looks like it is a setting being imported via the OVA.
