We got a strange issue with only Citrix protocol (ICA) .
Our small ofice are connected via Eoip to the main office.
We send vlan over Eoip like this :
Main Office Mikrotik Small Offices
==================EOIP (1500mtu)=============_
Interface Eoip Interface Eoip
- Vlan Data 10 - Vlan Data 10
bridge to bridge to
Ether2 Ether3 - Vlan Data 10 - Vlan Data 10
We only have issue with Citrix ICA protocol UDP, random freeze happened (2 to 20 sec…).
All other protocol are ok like RTP etc… no freeze, no packet loss etc… connectivity seem pretty stable. like 5 ms average.
Someone already experience that kind of issue ?
Its looklikes its a MTU/MSS problem due to the EOIP encapsulation maybe ? or the EDT citrix protocol who bug over EOIP? UDP fragmentation issue ?
i tried to wireshark , and during the freeze i still can see the Citrix server send UDP packet to the computer. So its not a link stability issue.
