i have a rb333 board and i want to config it as bridge then masgurade the 2nd interface whille hotspot run on the thrid interface, and this is my isp ip ,83.229.13.4,subnetmask :255.255.255.0. default gateway:83.229.13.1 ,dns:83.229.13.3, alternwtive dns:4.2.2.2, pls how can i go about it and browse from it . thank you.
if you want to recive internet via static ip to the router and with another interface you can give hotspot for your users you have to do the follwoing:
go to:
- ip > address then add your 83.229.13.4/24 on the WAN interface (This interface you will recieve internet by it).
- ip > route add new then put 83.229.13.1 in the Gateway.
- ip > DNS > Settings . put your primary and secondary DNS.
- Bridge> add new bridge then ok,
- inside of the bridge go to Ports and add both those interfaces that you want to put hotspot on them.
- ip > hotspot> Hotspot Setup then chose Bridge as a interface then next , next till finishing hotspot. after these steps you will get your result.
