mikrotik crashing intermittently

i have a rb-500 that is crashing at random times when it does is goes off line for a short time and when it comes back up i can ping it and it passes traffic but i can not log into it.

it is running 2.9.40 and the newest bios
i have replaces the unit and the problem continues
i am using static routing and watchdog is off
i do not think that it is power

any help would be Greatly appreciated

I am having similar issue with certain RB’s on my network. Different RouterOS versions. I remember once, I got this issue when I had usermanager installed on a RB500.

Seems like when the CPU useage hits 100% you cant manage the router, traffic passes but does’nt ‘enter’ the router…
