Hi Guys,
I have 2 of these, one in my work running my network on a BT infinity connection, & the other one i have at home on my Virgin fibre connection.
My issue is with the one in my home since upgrading from 60mb to 150mb, since that point any pc connected on the router gets speed tests ranging from 12mb -160mb!?
The upload is unaffected at 12mb on every test, but the downloads are totally sporadic, it’s had me up the wall testing everything to the point where ifound the router was
the cause, which im confused with as i cant see how it can give me such an inconsistency in dowload speed!?
If i connect any of the same pc’s direct into the Virgin modem i get 160mb solid everytime, the issue is only when i pass through the Mikrotik,
i had no (apparent) issues when i was on 60mb.
If there is any obvious settings etc i would welcome any assistance as this router is so deep & although my pc/tech knowledge goes back to the early 90’s
& i have a wide spectrum of skills, i will confess to this router being over my head & im probably not half as clued up as most of you on here when it comes
to advanced routers such as this.
Please help obi-wan your my only hope!
