MikroTik CRS518-16XS-2XQ-RM use as a switch

Hello,

I have a MikroTik CRS518-16XS-2XQ-RM that I am trying to connect to my ubiquiti 25G switch. The auto negotiation says failed so I tried manually setting the speeds on both ends to 25G FDXbut I cannnot get the interfaces to light up. It is mostly default configs outside of that. What am I doing wrong?

I have attached a screenshot. The mikrotik shows the SFP type so that tells me it should be working. A bit out of my element with this device.

It is likely a compatibility issue between the MikroTik CRS518-16XS-2XQ-RM and Ubiquiti optics. Make sure both ends use 25G-supported modules or DACs, disble auto-negotiation, and set 25G full duplex manually. Also, update firmware on both devices, that often fixes link issues.
