I hope it is the most suitable section for my request ..
I am going to “upgrade” my current home network using all Mikrotik devices for connectivity.
Currently my network is composed as follows:
- Radio Mikrotik bridge (I assume LHG) which replaces the previous Groove5 installed by my ISP
On dedicated rack - Firewall Zyxel USG 100 which negotiates the PPP of the ISP and distributes it.
- HPE / Aruba 2530-24G switch that distributes it at home. (there are no VLANs running inside)
- As AP I have a Cisco Airlap 1142 Powered with an external PoE and distributes it in the living room, while in the sleeping area at the moment I have a Netgear WNR2000RPT v3 Modified with DD-Wrt however it has a 100Mbit uplink
I wanted to replace all the components using Mikrotik, What products could I use to manage the connectivity and any AP of the House? (I was evaluating a Mesh configuration for the AP to not have two Wireless networks to select each time I change …
