Pretty simple question, but what am I doing wrong?
I have two mikrotiks. One is acting as the router, the other a 5 port switch. I have a DHCP client on bridge interface of the switch that has a static lease assigned for it on the router.
My problem is periodically the MAC address of the switch changes? Usually by 1 digit.. i.e 76:5b:76 to 76:5b:77 which then causes the switch to not grab the static lease that is assigned for it on the router.
I know I can simply just set the switch statically, but any reason why this happens? Is there away to prevent this?
