Mikrotik Died unable to reinstall

I have a Compaq EN SFF machine setup as mikrotik router with a CF-IDE Converter and a compact flash card.

Because of switching DSL providers some day now, ive installed a ISDN Board. To get on the net when mij dsl connection is being moved.

So i powered down the box and installed a ISDN board. But after that i`m unable to boot the box. Linux kernel loading and then is stops. Unable to load disk please place it elseware.

Sow i thougd damn im screwed, lets reinstall but when im using netinstall PXE boot nothing happens. When i use a floppy disk. Everything works using netinstall im able to start the installation. But at the point of transfering the installation something goed wrong.

FATAL ERROR: bad network connection
Press Enter to reboot

And now i do … ?

I,ve alreadey tried another networkboard / connection. And am currently downloading the latest version of netinstall

  • New network not helping
  • Latest netinstall utility also not helping
  • Installing the software on the compact flash using a usb cf reader on mij XP machine isnt working either.
  • Installing o a normal HDD, same problem

Help

Yes up and running again.

It seems tha my CF IDE Flashdrive has died. Although windows xp can read and write to the flashdrive. Something isnt working fine.

Sow now i have removed the CF-IDE Converter and the CF-FlashDisk from the machine and installed mikrotik using the BootCD on a Harddisk
and restored mij emailbackup

Installing using netinstall PXE boot or netinstall floppy boot still didnt work

Although im stil having a issue, the box is sending me a autosupout.rif on reboot. But i cant figure out why.

I have same problem with one PC.
PC have 1 3COM and 1 IBM lan card
AMD Duron 950Mhz, Acorp MB with VIA chipset, 256Mb SDRAM
and 500Mb HDD
