I use Mikrotik RB751U-2HnD.
Yesterday i was trying some sort of configuration about traffic logging and hotspot and i wanted to reset configuration to return begin, i used winbox interface and use System → Reset configuration and mikrotik doesn’t work after physical reset,
There is a cable that plugged PoE port (which is first port), whenever i cut off power and switched on, this PoE port blink two times and nothing happens.
All leds are off, except power led that in placed near the ports. I tried many times hard reset with jumper hole or reset button, these are also didn’t worked.
When you do a reset, the routerboard probably will load the default configuration.
With the default configuration you can connect via IP when the ethernet cable is on ether1 of the board, but you can not connect via mac-address.
To connect via mac-address, connect the ethernet cable on one of the interfaces from 2 to 5.
Thanks for the answer, but i guess device can’t finish booting. As i said when i powered on even there is no plugged cable, nothnigs happened. But earlier it works when i reset with default configuration.
I think there should be some shortchange or physical problem, it be ?
In rare cases, I have seen that a routerboard won’t boot when an update is done, but never when you do a reset.
Have you tried to connect ethernet on interface2 for example and from winbox see if it finds the router? If not, then you should try netinstall.
