A RouterOs script to block a dynamic list of malicious IPs from Firehol_level1
The Firetik script is automatically maintained via a vbscript that gets a list of malicious IPs from firehol_level1 and translates it to RouterOs script. I host the script at https://binary.ph/firehol/firehol.rsc. The output rsc file is synchronized from my personal computers via ftp which my vbscript updates regularly triggered by task scheduler.
The script works like an Antivirus for your network and its database, a list of malicious IPs, is from Firehol_level1 which you can find here: http://iplists.firehol.org/
With one word of caution: You should never automate an import process from an untrusted source. It will make your router vulnerable to whatever the url is returning.
Even when the scripts seems legit in browser, the author could inject malware based on user agent = Mikrotik/6.x Fetch.
Therefore: If you want to use this script, manually download the file and review the contents before executing. Do not - ever - think about scheduling the import process.
(Also note that the author has been active only since yesterday)
I can’t somehow login my account due to captcha not showing up in the login page. Already contacted support.
Anyway I agree with you that my account cannot be trusted because I’m new to the community. If you/they find my hosting site sending other scripts that it’s not supposed to, though I doubt it would happen, please email me at amin.mikunug@gmail.com. Or they can just visit the hosting url and copy all the scripts. They just have to do it manually everyday though because the firehol list changes on regular basis.
Attached below is my mikrotik consultant information. Thanks
