Dear All,

I used to be a Network Admin for a few years before going into Marketing (give all back to company already :stuck_out_tongue: ).

Looking to relive the old days / boost my gaming with Mikrotik. As current Netgear is horrible 1. in their buggy firmware and 2. in their non-existant ability to configure the router. They had a bug for 1 year, that caused my router to crash after some time, due to my house about 20 IOT devicesā€¦ Was super annoying. And QoS is still not fixed after 3 years.

Also my ISP (Starhub) uses a single Fibre terminal for both Internet and their IP TV. They also have a new plan for 2 1gbps lines to boost your internet speeds.
I have:

  1. a 1 gbps internet line (shared with too many houses)
  2. 2 IP TVs (connect via their IP TV devices)
  3. (want to get) another 1 gbps internet line

As such, an I do the following (in the network diagram) with:

  1. RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD-IN
  2. cAP ac (mesh with RB40011iGS wirelessly)

Can this be done? Would this work properly?
