Can I use hEX PoE router as WifiWave2 CAPsMAN for couple of cAP ax?
I understand that for such setup WifiWave2 package need to be installed on hEX PoE router. But I didn’t find that hEX PoE supports this package.
Im new to Mikrotik and dont know where to find some sort of compatibility matrix for packages.
Can anyone confirm that hEX PoE router supports WifiWave2 package?
It should be since base hooks for wave2 handling are available in main ROS package as of 7.13.
So you do not need to install wave2 package on Hex POE.
Pre-7.13 a separate wave2 package was needed but there MIPSBE platform was not supported.
But all that changed with 7.13.

Do I understand correctly? All I need is to install 7.13 or higher on hEX PoE and wave2 will aready be there?
For use as capsman controller, yes. That’s all to be done.
