Hey,
I am new to Mikrotik environment. I wasn’t aware of capabilities and powers of MikroTik routers till last month 
. A friend of mine asked me to install a MikroTik Router at your gateway to control the traffic and bandwidth. I have some question hoping will get quick valuable response.
My network scenario is quite simple, I have a WAN connection terminate into CISCO SG300-28 switch.I can’t control the bandwidth and traffic because I haven’t proxy server in my network. I am wondering How can I configure MikroTik HEX router before Cisco Switch. I want to terminate the WAN connection to MiktroTik router and then give a connection to CISCO switch through a LAN wire. Kindly guide and help me for the initial configuration and blocking the sites or even closing the net browsing on different PC’s.
