My name is DIALLO Abdoulaye Alseny , from MTN Guinea.
we recently have installed a Mikrotik for a Hotspot.
The hospot seams to be working , because when we enter the DNS name in the browser we have the login page (portal). However, the hotspot is not redirecting to the portal.
My questions are:
Why is it the hotspot is not redirecting to the portal automatically?
What do we have to do for it to work?
PLease help !!!
Do you have an entry for “dns-name” in “/ip hotspot profile”? If so, does that domain name resolve to the ip of the router’s hotspot interface ip?

In fact, we are testing in the lab environnement:
the dns-name : mtn.areeba.com.gn
ip address: dhcp : 10.3.31.40
We cannot connect to the Mikrotik after configuring the hotspot. so we can’t test if the dns is resolving or not.
