I have a network with mikrotik rb850 gx2 as my server and hotspot manager. I connected three other routers via their wan port from mikrotik lan with cables but when ever i login in one router other users will have access. other user doesn’t need to login.
any solution for it?
Access for hotspot is based on Mac address and the only one the mikrotik can see is the WAN mac of the other routers.
If you need them to have unique access then they need to be on the layer 2 network created by the Mikrotik hotspot
ok ,i fixed it but i got another problem ,i create a 512k hotspot profile .is there any way to separate youtube bandwidth from that 512k profile, i want to give 1m for youtube to my hotspot client
please help me to solve this problem
I’m still new to Mikrotik, and I’ll be needing to do similar soon. I think you need to look into Queue Trees and Mangle rules. Maybe someone can correct me, or give more information…
