I made small application for user administration which uses freeradius and Mysql.
When I enter Framed-IP-Address Attribute for specific user in mysql table it is ignored by Framed-Pool attribute defined for specific group. During debug process (radiusd -x) I can see that radius server correctly read database and present all data (group attributes, user authentication, etc. )…
Problem is that I can’t add static IP address for specific user. When I delete IP pool on Mikrotik, everything works fine and user gets his IP address defined in database.
line in database is for example
id UserName Attribute Value op
37 user Framed-IP-Address 192.168.8.172 :=
I tried with “==” and “=” operators and it is the same…
No responce from MT on either one of the three bugs, some of which are very serious issues with Radius IMHO. I have not yet tested to see whether these things work correctly in the v3 serious
