Mikrotik Installing Error

i want to install mikrotik os on a pc whic harddrive is sata and cd drive attach with pata

windows xp is working fine on it while when i try to install mikrotik os its give me error in start hard drive not found while harddrive is showing in morhterboard setup

Make sure you are trying to install MikroTik RouterOS 4.10 version.
Try to set different modes for SATA disk on BIOS (install the latest BIOS version to your computer as well).

i have changed the pc now i want to install mikrotik on dell power edge 830 server but same error no harddrive found while windows server 2003 is working fine on it.

dell power edge 830 server
3 hgz processor
1 gm ram
mikrotik version 2.9

Harddrivers are sata in power edge 830.

are you try with the last version of RouterOS ?
