Mikrotik is Hanging fequently for any configuration change

Hello,

We loaded Router OS on an Intel Core Duo - HCL server,whenever we do configuration changes from winbox..its is hanging and its coming up only after rebooting it.The version we are using is version 3.13.

Will this happen if there is any problem with the hardware on which Router-OS is being used or is it software bug ..?

Please suggest…

why are you using v3.13 if the latest is v3.28 and there are many hardware (multicore CPU) related fixes?

Just curious to know whether this issue is related to the software vesion or the hardware limitations ..?

Please suggest…if its really a software bug we will go ahead and upgrade.

you are using a multicore CPU, there have been fixes of crashed for multicore cpus. Do i need to say more? Try and see.
