We are following up our late LTE test series on the same locations we did earlier. In this episode we’ll bring you the performance test of the Mikrotik LHG LTE kit, which has the highest antenna gain of all the tested products.

Just bought some LTEs from Mikrotik and was looking for some reviews.

For me this is next unboxing and first imresion video, not a test of device.

But this is KIT version with R11e-LTE or R11e-LTE6?
If LTE6 then at what band and ca-band you do testing?
This -62dBm was from how long distance from eNB/BTS?
You can go ~1km with visible eNB and do test on every Band with like:

  • rsrp
  • speedtest
  • test on differ band, test with ca-band, in table
  • test who compare and do matrix of dBm with a) just a modem with unplug u.FL connenctors, b) with internal antena c) some popular LTE MIMO external antenas for 1800/2600Mhz

All this give us what dBm we have on what Band, without internal antena, with internal antena, with external antena.
In EMEA we use B1/3/7 as speed. The additional are B8/20 just for stable connectivity.
