I bought MikroTik LtAP LTE6 kit and it works for LMT mobile network ( Latvia) but internet connection is slow x2 slower than if I use crappy LMT mobile router from Huawei! + on my mobile phone who uses LMT as carier internet is x3 faster than on my MikroTik LtAP LTE6 kit ( used speedtest.net)
In my LTE settings i use:
General Tab:
Bands : 1, 3 and 7
Network Mode: GSM + 3G + LTE
APN profile: internet.lmt.lv
And don’t compare router with phone, they are using different frequencies, so there can be different load on tower. Would be interesting to see the same RSRP, RSRQ and SINR from Huawei router.
Quite a difference , and they both are standing in same place on my table.
=additional I contacted guys who are official dealers and they told me that this model also have option to add external anthena but i dont see any port for it
Update R11-LTE6 firmware to v025, it improves Carrier Aggregation (CA) support and check that You are comparing apple to apples regarding SIM card assigned data plans, eg “Neatkarbība” vs “Internets mājai”.
