MikroTik Metal 52 AC not powering. Dead on arrival or I'm stupid?

I’m completely new at this. Just today received the RBMetalG-52SHPacn. Opened package - looks nice. Tried to connect - nothing. No LED lights up even briefly on the unit itself (PoE green light is on). No connection.

Looks to me like dead on arrival, or is it a configuration/connection issue? ( I imagine LEDs should blink at least when plugged in?)

Want to be sure it’s really dead before asking for a replacement.

Maybe a stupid question, but just make sure:
Did you connect the correct end of the Injector to the metal?
PoE-out is provided on the female RJ45 connector only, so you’ll need a patch cable between injector and device.
