Ooo noooo, Krakow was super at last MUM, but I whould have like it to be at some other central European place (Praque, Budapest, Wien, …).

That’s it, anyway we will be there, see you at Krakow MUM!

or Berlin ???

Perhaps in the fall they can go to Germany (Deutschland) during OctoberFest.

Perhaps in the fall they can go to Germany (> Deutschland> ) during OctoberFest.

OctoberFest or OctoBeerFest

OctoBeerFest - Octo- is too small prefix

I must also admit that I’m a bit disappointed that this winter’s Europe Mum will be in Krakow.
Krakow and Hotel Qubus was all fine, and the 2007 Krakow MUM was a great experience, but why not move to another town for 2008? There are so many european cities worth a visit.
MUM has never been same place twice, so why now?

Italy is waiting for MUM… :frowning:
What can we do for a MUM in Milan/Rome/Turin/Venice?

Czech is waiting for MUM… :frowning:
What can we do for a MUM in Prague?

It was already in Prague once. Didn’t you all just say that ‘same location’ is a bad thing?

Ok, then let’s go to Germany next time
Perhaps directly before or after CeBit?

But it was never on Italy!

Muenchen (or in the south of Bavaria) could be a good site for north-italian people too…

P.S.
CeBit? Why not during the most important IT festival (Oktoberfest)?

I think you understand what we’re all talking about Normis..

Besides the great event that the MUM is itself, and besides meeting old and new friends, one good thing about it is the opportunity to see new places. Therefore, personally I’d prefer a new location.

As I said, Krakow MUM was beautiful and I’m planning to go to there this winter too, but I’d rather see it arranged somewhere else.
That said - going same place every second year is better than going same place two consecutive years, and as MUM has grown quite a bit since Prague 2006, fewer people attending the 2008 MUM will have been to Prague than to Krakow 2007.

So - Czech Republic is not a bad idea!

Why not go back to the roots and do it in Riga? I think Riga’s much better connected to the rest of Europe now than it was ‘back in the day’…

Anyway, I’m registered in already. Wether it’s done in Krakow, Italy, Riga, Berlin or Germany, I’m looking forward to seeing you all there.

BTW: What happened to the MPLS presentation?

Greets,
uebi

We are waiting for LONG time to see it at Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Me too. We are waiting for MUM@Dhaka, Bangladesh.
