I’ve been struggling to find a working solution for users to grant them the possibility of joining games locally with each other on PS3.
Every now and then a subscriber calls in “when can we be able to join games” / “when can we create rooms”. Man its a heavy question!
I am wondering - If I must provide a public IP to each user… I can’t cause my public IP is much limited to cover all local users.
Also, most users use wireless routers in their homes should each user enable DMZ on their router? is there a way around this?
And what special setting must be activated or added on mikrotik router to grant online gamers what they need.
Note: internet service is served as pppoe and pppoe configuration is added to their outdoor device.**
This is not a Mikrotik-specific question. You must do some research on the requirements of the PS3 Online Network and then program whatever brand of router and firewall you use to meet those requirements.
