Mikrotik PCIe mini cards question

Hello,

We are using Mikrotik PCIe mini cards in our design(s), and while everything works fine under Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, Kali and Parrot OS), we have few clients who asked Windows installation (8.1 or 10) since they have Windows based applications. We are trying to make AR9582 based cards to work under Windows (R11e-2HPnD and R11e-5HnD), but so far no luck. We did follow Mikrotik supplied link to drivers - https://www.atheros-drivers.com/atheros-wireless-drivers.html - but cards are “deaf”, i.e. no network detection, and network adapter status shows “no operational”, and ipconfig produces “media not connected”. Other then not working at all, everything else looks ok - device manager shows card as normal.

Can anybody advice how ho make these cards work under Windows? Does anybody have any experience in this domain?

I am having the same problem. I have try multiple drivers and can not get the R11e-2HnD to working in WINDOWS 10 or 7. Device managers see it and is happy but it will not connect to any network. If I load Linux, it works fine. Really needs some help here.
