Mikrotik PPPoE server error

Hello.


I have mikrotik v 4.8, licence 6, server parameters :

I have 3 PPPoE servers with radius. Avr 850 sessions, avr 15% cpu loading.
And I have problem, each 10-15 days, pppoe servers is DOWN. But server(and all other other services, hotpsot) still active and work normal. What a problem?
I cant to check or view ppp server by comand(comand not responsoble, console and winbox not view):

interface pppoe-server server print

or

ppp active print

My billing server connect by ssh to mikrotik router each 10 min, and check(and change if need) speed pppoe session, this command:

queue simple print
queue simple set max-limit=? limit-at=? number=?

Please help

update server to 4.17 or 5.4?

PPPoE Server has serious problems even in 5.x specially when using radius . i have sent a lots lots lots of supouts to support , they just answered “Upgrade to latest version” but in latest version the problem is worst . welcome to pppoe hell .

this is no good, problem will be solved?
on mikrotik 4.17 situation is better than on mikrotik 5.4?

In my researches the 4.11 is the best one .
