MikroTik RB951 reset issue

Hello!
I have a MikroTik router RB951 and amateur network. With WinBox, I reinitialized the configuration without checking the default configuration. there I am utterly lost; there is no signal WIFI and even cable, I can not access to http://192.168.88.1/. I am completely lost. Need help

The router only lights up with the adapter plugged in. I pressed the reset button for three seconds but still failed

Hi,

I’ve a similar problem with a 2011. It’s been great for a few years but after an update I screwed the config. Did a reset as I’ve done before and got the display for default admin password suggesting a clean start.

BUT I can’t access via 192.168.88.1 and no default WiFi service.

Tried reset a number of times and via ‘front panel’ reset configuration but always same result.

Any ideas?

  1. Connect MikroTik via cable to your computer.
  2. Run WinBox on your computer.
  3. Click on “Neighbors” card.
  4. Click “Refresh”.
  5. Connect with the desired device by MAC address.
