Hello,
everyone knows the “feature” of Windows Clients/Server to register with their hostname in DNS when you boot them or by typing “ipconfig -registerdns”
we got a relatively large network environment with over 100 locations and 800+ Mikrotik Switches and we want to reach, that also these devices register with their hostnames in DNS. So if you boot a switch it registers automatically with its hostname to the DNS Server.
Is this possible? If yes, how it can be done?
