Mikrotik repeater on a hill

Has anybody done a setup like this,i have been having problems setting it up.

We have an RB500 jumpers set to 12v with a RouterBoard 502.
There are 4 radios installed 2 Senao EMP-8602 and 2 Cm9.
The 2 8602s are running 5ghz one paarabolic and one 5ghz panel.
The Cm9s are 2.4ghz on 2 180° Sectors.

Power is from 1 100AH Battery charged by a Air-x wind turbine.

We have the wind turbine connected straight to the battery with a 50AMP fuse and the RB500 connected directly on to the battery as well with a 12V fuse.We have it earthed properly 100% sure.

Simple enough so far

Now here Is my problem the system ran well for the first week until we had a really bad weather for about 2 weeks storm etc. When the weather cleared i went up the hill (250 meters high) :unamused: to find that the battery had been overcharged. The Air-x has a built in regulator which should have stopped charging the battery when it reached its full charge.

My questions are would an RB500 interfere with the AIR-Xs built in electronic regulator.Anybody using an AIR-X?

I’d like to know too. I have such a generator, but haven’t hooked it up yet.

My first guess would be you didn’t have enough battery. It would probably be good to call Southwest Windpower for support.
