MikroTik ROS on Dell t100

Hi,

will Mikrotik works fine on Dell T100 Server???

is anyone using this???

While I haven’t used it myself, I’ve found mikrotik works with pretty much any server, but for 2 clauses.

  1. Make sure the ethernet chipset (if it’s onboard) is supported by mikrotik. Alternatively email them the details and ask.
  2. Make sure the server isn’t using SAS or a built in raid card as only a very few of these are supported at this time.

if you have the chance, test the device with the latest RouterOS v5 release. If ethernet is recognized, and RouterOS can be installed on the HDD, it’s supported. Like Omega said, it’s usually only about the NIC and the HDD
