Mikrotik router authoritative DNS server

Hi,

so lets start of what I have.

My server is running cwp webpanel, added my own NS in the settings but I get an error FAIL: Nameserver is not authoritative for domain.com

Mikrotic has fixed ip set up with NAT firewall whitelist / blacklist rules, se my settings here:

So can someone explain what I need at my router end to set up and how to do that in my config?

RouterOS only works as resolver/cache. It can’t be used as authoritative DNS server

So I dont have the option to set my own NS???

And what exactly are you trying to do? RouterOS itself can’t be authoritative DNS server. But you can run one on another machine in LAN and forward ports to it from router (port 53, both tcp and udp).
