I’m so close to getting this figured out, I don’t want to have to reset it again
What am I doing wrong?
If I had to boil it down, I believe I am now experiencing 2 issues.
- shortly after choosing the default configuration, I can then go to my workstation which is behind a switch to start configuring. At that time, I am able to get to the router using 192.168.88.1. However, I am not able to access the internet after turning DHCP server on.
- I decided to try a unique up in case there was something crashing into the default up vec it was assigned .88.1 also. So, I changed to .5.1 and now can’t access at all
Using angry up, with a wide open range of 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.254.254 and waiting a long time, it doesnt find anything at all!?
I am not only wanting to reach the internet to get my work done, I am wanting to understand this better to one day have knowledge on the subject. Which is why I don’t understand how after using such a basic and broad listener, it is not hearing anything.
