I have a mikrotik ethernet port plugged into a cisco switch. I have a IP setup on the switch that is in same subnet as the ethernet interface on the mikrotik. But when I try to ping from either I get 50% packet loss. I have 0 protocols on the cisco switch. I have tried to hardset the speed of the links to no success. Any ideas??
Well, swap stuff out. Does a different switch show the same problem?
If so swap the nic in the router(or eth port on a rb)
If not I would guess it was the switch. Swap cables to just in case.
