Mikrotik router with ubiquity access points

Hi all
The problem i have at the minute is we have gone into a venue where they have ubiquity unifi access points what only have power going to them , no Ethernet cables therefore they are communicating over WiFi to a switch. i was informed by the IT guy to plug our mikrotik into an open port on his switch which i have done but the unifi access points are not picking our mikrotik rb951 up, they are still broadcasting there original open and secure network , but not bringing up our captive portal.

so basically how to get our router to communicate through WiFi to ubiquity

Wat do you mean with “not picking up”? Are the Unifies supposed to user the MikroTik for wireless uplink purposes? How should the Unifies know about a portal on the MikroTik? Have you made adjustments on the controller? Can you please draw the network with the IP’s and inter-device connections? Do hou have any experience with Unify?
