MikroTik RouterBOARD 411-5NH - NO WLAN INTERFACE?

Hi, I have a problem when I upgrade my MikroTik about 1 year ago I do not know what version (5.xx sure) but when I upgraded I lost a WLAN interface, said something similar when I upgraded, kernel error or something else .. . I tried the latest version 5.24, but there’s no way to recover the wlan interface … I am sure that the software problem, because everything worked well before the upgrade. I changed the WLAN miniPCI card and still no WLAN interface.

P.S. Wistron CM9 MiniPCI Card is attached on MikroTik, but not detected by interface…

Please anybody can help me???

Cau you try another card? Mayby CM9 is destroyed

I’m not sure from your description what exactly happened when. It sounds like whatever went wrong happened a long time ago. Check the wireless card slot for corrosion. Look for swollen capacitors.

If you are sure the upgrade caused the loss of the wlan interface, downgrade it to what you were using before, or lower. Don’t forget to downgrade the routerboot firmware too.

If you downgrade, and it still doesn’t show up. The hardware is probably dead.

I tried many older version but no chance to back my wlan interface… Perhaps is hardware problem. MiniPCI card is not dead i tried it on other mikrotik board.
