Hello There! I have Mikrotik RB433AH installed in the field for many time. First works well, then stop powering-up. After many restart it goes ON properly with booting beep, but disconnect after few minutes. Now its totally deactivated. After applying power all the LEDs Blue, Green and on board booting LEDs remains ON with a single beep, sometimes no beep at all. Also, Ethernet switch chip on board gets heated up. Whats the problem, i think its hardware problem, not firmware issue. Any help will be appreciated heartily. Thanks.

Hello Dobby! thanks for your assistance. I reviewed and tested every major parts in power supply of this rb433ah board. I am also an electronics technician and very much familiar with all the active and passive components on PCB board. Each electrolytic capacitors are okay! even i tested by replacing them with new ones, but no luck. But i got one thing, both ethernet switch chip and and regulator transistor nearby it are heating up. I tested the regulated Tr. and checked by replacing filter cap. 330uF/6.3v. but still heating and and all the LEDs remains ON. I also write to support team at Mikrotik they write back to check with serial port. But i think its hardware failure problem. Until the power supply will not get fix it won’t boot. No doubt I hearty appreciate Mikrotik services and its routerboards they do excellent in the field, but i’m afraid to say that there is not much hardware related services with hardware troubleshooting related support, which can save much from buying new board just even for miner hardware failure. I am sure i can fix it easily, but can’t because of parts nonavailability in the marker for the boards. I can’t get SMD ethernet chip, regulated transistor, power input regulated IC etc. Thanks.
