MikroTik RouterBOARD SXT G-5HnD | Throughput? Level 3?

Dear Community.

I plan a point to point link to my neighbor.
This is the way the Signal should go:

The Distance is 32 meters.

This is the Window it points to

Q1:
What speed can i ecxpect when i mount a “MikroTik RouterBOARD SXT G-5HnD” on each side?

Currently there is an omni 2,4ghz 8dbi antenna on each side which are at Alfa AWUS036NHA.
These are connected to a openwrt router on each side which handle the Routing.
The Throughput is 40mbit full duplex most of the time.

I tried ubnt Nanostations M2 loco for that link. The results were blury because of mising gbit port. (80 Mbit - 90 Mbit)

Q2:
This will be my first Mikrotik device so i have a question about the licence level.
With openwrt i made one side an AP and another side was sta. As i saw in wiki that with
level3 is no AP possible.
So is it possible to establish a ptp link with two “MikroTik RouterBOARD SXT G-5HnD” which have level 3 Lience?

Thanks!

Yes you can do PTP with this license. Speed depends on this trees. 5GHz is way more harmed by trees than 2,4GHz.
But as it is a very short link it may work out well. Be nice to your neighbors and keep your signal at -65db.
I would Prefer SXTs to your Omnis. Omnis are a bad idea for a PTP link.

Thanks for that quick reply.
The Omnis where cheap. 34$ each including this usb adapter from Alfa. That was the reason i taked it.

And what do you think about speed?
The 5ghz Band is totally quiet here, only one consumer grade AP 300m down the Street.
But 2,4 … is something like “every Window has one”.

What weights more here for the Throughput? The tree between us or the Noise around us?
My dream is about 200Mbit stable? Don’t know if this is realistic…

…if you are using a pair of sxtghnd…dont forget

1- enable nestrem/ nv2 protocol to get perfect band
2- you must use high elevation to fix signal proplems

that is all

Thanks for your replys!

There will be no elevation. It will be mounted at the windowsframe outside.
The Backside will become a shield to reduce noise from the backside.

I still hope for an answer to “” What weights more here for the Throughput? The tree between us or the noise (2,4ghz) around us? “”
and what throughput can i ecxpect?

I wont beleve that no one here has experience with the throughput values

no One?

So here is the Answer for People which came after me.
I installed the 2Ghz Hardware with gigabit port RB SXT G-2HnD in bridged mode.

The Link speed is pending between 190mbit and 205mbit using wget, single tcp thread.
On each side is an TpLink WDR4900 installed with openwrt trunk doing the Routing stuff.

I think there could be more than that but the CPU inside the RB is hitting its limits. Maybe someone has an idea to decrease
this??

I atached a screenshot here. Maybe its helpful for someone…
