Why the cable has to be unshielded? Aren’t you able to make active poe with shielded cables?
They did something wrong with the pcb design … i gues there are some filters connected to ground and that 48V is to much for these components …
How groundig with active POE? Normis please more info…

I’ve read that you cannot use shielded cables with these units? Is that correct?
Also do they work with CAT6 cabling? i.e. Does POE & Data sent correctly?
