Rookie level here with MikroTik. I’m currently working on one of the case studies that I need to finish before my exams start. I was going through some youtube setups and went through some documentation as well from MikroTik and pfSense as well since I need to setup the firewall also. I made 2 virtual machines via hyperV, 1 being the server and the other one the client. After few attempts I was able to connect the server machine to the internet and then connect the client machine to the server one via predefined username/password. I’m still going through the whole setup that I did since I’m still learning everything. However the case study that we got is a lot harder then the ones we went through our online class lessons.
I don’t expect any one of you to solve this one for me but if you can please guide me as to what I need to have in order to create a setup like in the image. Short notes in terms of “you need 5 virtual machines , on 1 machine you will have PPPoE server and on the other one you will have PPPoE bridge etc.” would be much helpful as I need these guidelines to know what to google for and how to actually set it up properly so it works.
Some things that I know is that I need to setup 2 VPN servers via firewall pfSense (seen on the image) and that I also need to create a website on pfSense firewall 2 inside DMZ network ( not sure how would I setup DMZ). Any help would be much appreciated.
