Guys,
I have a question regarding a MikroTik router and using it between an IP connection and three internal networks (192.168.50.0/24, 192.168.51.0/24 and 192.168.52.0/24). Each of the machines on the internal subnets would not see each other but must be able to use the shared internet connection. Also, there is a NFS server that would be connected via three separate interfaces to all three subnets.
I have VLAN capable switches, ProCurve 1800-24G so I would use VLANs to separate the three subnets instead of using separate switches. Everything must be GigE capable including the router. At the moment I have a simple WRT54GL router that connects the external internet to the first internal subnet and is the defaultrouter with 192.168.50.1 (I don’t have the other subnets implemented yet).
Please help if this is something a MicroTik can handle (and especially the RB450G).
Thanks much in advance and greetings!
