here is our setup as we been useing for the last year trying to copy all of your ideas
our tower is 800m from us as we are using two senao outdoor wireless units as our bridge connected to ether2
no1 mikrotik setup is as follows
rb500 with 4 atheros ar5212 and the dude who built it put 4 1w
boosters
ether 1 not used erther2 connects our bridge ether3 not used
wlan1 to 4 running 2.4ghz ap bridge rest as default
all bridged and ported together but we have all interfaces with own ip
and not the bridge
should i give the bridge the ip and drop the rest
no2 useing wep key for customers
set up one master queue with pcq upload and download
then other queues for clients as to setting parent to the master queue
our clients are using tplink wireless pci cards
any basic ideas would help to improve our system
