After searching everywhere for an affordable and stable with solid features for wifi gear, i stumbled on this site
At this moment I am planning to set the following up and would like the expert to advice
SITE A → 40KM 10Mbps LINK 1 (over water and line of sight) → SITE B
May I know for LINK 1 which equipment is the best and type of antenna please?
I am thinking 433AH with 3 wireless cards at SITE B (R5H specially for the LINK1 connection) and add another two 2.4Ghz wireless cards for bandwidth distribution and MESH communication on respective two 2.4Ghz cards.
SITE A would be just a 433AH with 1 R5H
SITE B setup
433AH
- R5H → LINK1
- 2.4Ghz (Model undecided) → MESH Communication with other Mikrotik
- 2.4Ghz (Modem undecided) → Bandwidth to client
Also I will take one of the eth port on the 433AH connect to a 24 port switch which other 433AH is able to draw the connection.
Is 433AH powerful enough to have 3 wireless cards installed on it?
Which model of 2.4Ghz wireless card would you recommend?
For client site, which is the most recommended model assuming bandwidth used is limited to 1Mbps only?
