Mikrotik SFP module - Linksys switch - possible?

Hi!

Sorry for my bad English.
I want to use Mikrotik S+85DLC03D SFP modules with Linksys LGS552-EU ethernet switches.
The recommended (by Linksys) SFP module for this switch is the Linksys LACXGSR.
I never used SFP modules and optical cable before this time.

I see some technical information the SFP modules datasheets. So I think the Mikrotik S+85DLC03D SFP modules will working with Linksys LGS552-EU switches. Or this is not so simple?

They are thoretically compatible, difficult to know if they will work without actually testing, as linksys may lock SFPs to their own brand, or another issues may arise.

If you test and they work, please report back!

Hi all!

I have two Linksys LGS552-EU 48 ports ethernet switches. I bought two Mikrotik 85DLC03D SFP modules and the optical link is working good with 10GB speed between this switches! :slight_smile:
