This is probably going to sound like a Dumb Question.. But not knowing if SFP’s are by standard hot-swappable
Are the Mikrotik SFP’s hot swappable with a CCR-1036?

I know there are some Hotswappable SFP’s but having never plugged them in live before, I just don’t want to short out one of our CCR’s that’s live.

And if you know the SFP standard are all Hot-Swappable… Please let me know so I’m not confused in the future.

You can’t short/burn anything, they can be hot swapped. The only issue you might have, is that some module could be only recognized after a reboot, but most of the times they work right away.
