Greetings,
I am new to the forums and MikroTik - I recently bought RouterBoard 951Ui-2HnD for my home network. My ISP (cable TV) provides me with 60Mbps download/6Mbps upload - I have modem/router from my ISP (it can work as transparent bridge or router). I put the device from my ISP in bridge mode and connected RB951Ui on port eth1 (WAN) and used pre-defined creator (HOME AP) to set up my network, however speed on the download side seems to be ~15Mbps (when I change the modem/router device from my isp to router mode and omit RB951 as a router, I get 60Mbps downstream with no problem).
Is this possible that I might need more computing power on routerboard (better device) or my ISP is doing some ‘magic’ on their router to compress the traffic and then I get the ‘impression’ I have 60Mbps downstream.
Thanks for help!
