Mikrotik SR9 Throughput vs Tranzeo TR-902

Has anyone tried both the SR9 with Mikrotik and any of the Tranzeo TR-902 series? I noticed Tranzeo shows throughputs of upto 22Mbps. I realize this is probably on a perfect link. I have 1 ptp link that is about 1 mile through trees and I would like to be able to achieve a 10Mbps throughput (half-duplex). I’d prefer to stick with Mikrotik but I need as fast of speed as possible. Anyone know if I can pull this off with the SR9? I’ve been mainly seeing 5-6Mbps with SR9 in the forum. (I have not used an SR9 personally).

Thanks

SR9 with Mikrotik far exceeds the Tranzeo performance in both signal, penetration (NLOS) and throughput.

900mhz and large amounts of throughput don’t go hand in hand. I have a repeater site which is running SR9’s as the backhaul pushing about 6-8megs of throughput.

Understand, 900mhz is far more suceptible to noise and SR9’s pretty much don’t coexist well with either Trango or Canopy.

The Tranzeo boxes use a Zcomax card. If you want to try this card on the MT platform wlanparts.com sells them.

So is this a limitation of the Zcom card or just Tranzeo’s implementation? Do you recommend the SR9 over the Zcom for use in Mikrotik?

Thanks again.
