I’m just dropping in to say I’m impressed with MikroTik’s hardware and software stability. Today I upgraded hAP ac2 from RouterOS 7.6 to 7.11.2. Uptime on the router was 340 days. I have been busy during this last year and wasn’t following the updates. The whole year there were no issues with the router, everything just works, I don’t even think about it.
Backed up the configuration, did the upgrade. No issues.
I know it may sound strange - to be excited about things just working. Isn’t everything supposed to? Yet there are plenty of routers out there that require constant rebooting or fiddling.
