Mikrotik support 64bit high end server

I am using Dell servers. Mikrotik cannot support this one.

  • SATA hardisk
  • SCSI harddisk
  • 64 bit Processor (Opetron or Xeon)

Can you guys make the hardware above available. It would be nice.

I know that Mikrotik web proxy hangs when running PC with low ram.

Other issues is that it doesnt support SATA or SCSI. That is pretty sad to see that mikrotik is left behind in updated software world.

That is why i am using a dell server. Can you guys make 64bit version of mikrotik that support all the servers used right now.

To my belief Mikrotik will never plan to support SCSI. As for SATA v3 has it already available. Also, if you motherboard allows for SATA to be used as legacy devices this is another way around the issue.

IMHO 64-bit build is useless. x86_64 gives ONLY memory management for >2GB ram’s. No significant performance win.

if u are using OPTERON then you can lot x86 system on it, and as previously said - SATA is already there
