I opened ticket #[SUP-131614] on Oct/19 but no response so far via email.
Then I saw in the automatic response that “For a faster communication, write to us in the support portal. Portal tickets have higher priority in the ticketing system”. and I did on 25/Oct but also no response in there too! #[SUP-132270]
There’s an issue in v7.11.2 where hotspot HTTP Cookie login doesn’t work most of the time!
I started noticing the problem after upgrading from v6 to v7.11.2! so, I’m not sure if the problem exists in the previous v7 releases too.
I will check why nobody has responded, but the ticket does not include much information. Please add what devices you tested, do the same devices fail all the time, or it’s random, etc.
The cookie login works fine after the first successful login, but it won’t work after that. And I can see the mac address cookie is still stored in the router before testing.
The problem occurs in every device I tested. Android phones, Windows, and IOS.
Also, The MAC address of the tested devices is not random. it’s the device’s private MAC address.
