I have been using SwOS 2.8 on a CSS326-24G-2S+RM and CRS317-1G-16S+RM without any issues for a long time. Recently, I decided to upgrade to SwOS 2.9 on both devices. I updated the firmware and RouterOS on the CRS-317 before upgrading to SwOS.
However, I started experiencing an error/fault light on the CRS-317 every 12 hours, with the fans running at full rpm. Upon checking, I found that I was getting over 100,000 rx pauses on the trunk between the two devices.
To troubleshoot the issue, I downgraded back to SwOS 2.8 on both devices and the error/fault hasn’t reappeared. Have any other users experienced similar problems with SwOS 2.9?
